I just viewed three episodes of the new reality cable show Preachers of L.A. because I wanted to see how “preachers” were being depicted. (I have no intention of watching any more episodes because I deem it a waste of my time)

Baba Aladura International Youth Conference (BAIYOC),

All is now set for the Baba Aladura International Youth Conference (BAIYOC), as the organisation for the epoch international youth conference is taking greater dimension everyday. All the provinces and youths from other denominations are getting set to be part of this epoch and wonderful making event.

The sub-committee chairman of BAIYOC, Snr Ap Patrick Okei gave the assurance yesterday while briefing newsmen on the forthcoming BAIYOC.

speaking to newsmen in a brief interview, Snr Ap Okei told the public that the expected resource personalities have begin to turn in their notification of readiness for the conference. He said this conference will be a mark in the life of every youth that attends the conference.

He further expressed that the UK based motivational speaker "DAYO", who he said is getting well prepared to be in Nigeria for the conference will be there live with other International motivational speakers.

Snr Ap Patrick Okei maintained that the essence of the conference is to equip and motivate ESOCS youths on the challenges of Life and how to be bold in proclaiming the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ; adding that the youths are the pillar of every nation and religion.

He further argued that the only way to ensure the upliftment of ESOCS church world-wide is to engage the youths through channelling positive seminars and conferences that will help rebrand their moral, intellectual and spiritual sensitivity. Hence, he opined that the conference will help in rebranding the youths ideology and give them sense of belonging.

Don't Keep Quiet – Keep Telling Of God`s Love, Goodness, and Wondrous Works (Cont'd)

“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony.” (Revelation 12:11)

By announcing the testimonies from our Kingdom, we can drive wickedness and all forms of evil works out of our communities. “So mightily grew the word of God and prevailed.” (Acts 19:20). God`s Word, love, goodness, faithfulness and wondrous works is prevailing mightily in our communities (including all villages, counties, cities, towns, states, metropolis, ethnicity and in every nation). God is still winning more souls than the devil ever could. Jesus through His Church is still delivering people all around the world from destruction and damnation like never before. Multitudes of precious souls are being delivered from the domain of darkness into the Kingdom of God! God is still adding to the church daily a great number of precious souls who are being saved. Glory to God!!!

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever (Hebrews 13:8). The Ministry of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is ever-advancing through His Church today! He still permanently transforms lives and destinies for the best all around the world. Salvation of souls, miracles, healings, signs and wonders still abound today. Let us boldly proclaim God's love, goodness and wondrous works with demonstration and boldness through every medium for the whole world to know. Keeping quiet or shying away from testifying of God`s love and faithfulness is not an option. "...You who make mention of the Lord (in prayers and testifying of His goodness), keep not silence"(Isaiah 62:6). Let us keep talking about God`s love with unwavering allegiance and devotion. You are greatly blessed, highly favored and deeply loved!

DON'T LET ANYONE LOOK DOWN ON YOU BECAUSE YOU ARE YOUNG ,BUT SET AN EXAMPLE FOR THE BELIEVERS IN SPEECH, IN CONDUCT, IN LOVE , IN FAITH AND IN PURITY.

I UNDERSTAND THAT BEING A YOUTH MINISTER PROVIDES YOU WITH A COMPREHENSIVE FRAMEWORK AND PLATFORM TO LEARN AND GROW IN YOUR CALLING. IT IS IN THAT LIGHT THAT I WRITE TO TELL YOU BELIEVE IN YOUR CALLING.
DEAR YOUTH MINISTER, I UNDERSTAND THAT YOU ARE MORE THAN, JUST THE CIVIC CENTER OF YOUR SOCIETY. YOU ARE THE CORE CARRIER OF THIS GOSPEL. ONE'S MINISTRY IS HIGHLY INDEPENDENT WITH HOW OLD THEY  BUT MORE  CONCERNED WITH HOW RESPONSIVE ONE IS TO GODS GIVEN ABILITY 'THEN I HEARD THE VOICE OF THE LORD SAYING,"WHOM SHALL I SEND? AND WHO WILL GO FOR US?" AND I SAID,"HERE AM I, SEND ME!" ISAIAH 6:8. THE PROPHET SIMPLY RESPONDED. THE DAY YOU HEARD THE CALL COUPLED WITH AN INNER INCLINED URGE BREEDING THROUGH YOUR SPIRITS STRONG IMPULSE, IT BECAME CLEAR THAT, "TO WHOM MUCH WAS GIVEN MUCH WAS, INDEED EXPECTED."
YOU BECAME KINGDOM ACTIVE AND WORLDLY UNENGAGED, THAT IN ITSELF IS CHALLENGING YET SPIRIT MOTIVATING. IT IS IMPORTANT TO NOTE THAT WE ARE IN MOST OF A REVOLUTION (CULTURE DRIFT),THUS WE DO NOT HAVE THE TIME AND HINDSIGHT TO SAY, I WILL DO IT WHEN AM OLD. BELIEVE IN YOUR CALLING!
YOU ARE CALLED FOR THAT MINISTRY. AVOID TECHNICAL, SCIENTIFIC ANSWERS TO QUESTIONS OF FAITH. GROUND YOURSELF IN THE WORD AND EMBRACE YOUR CALL.
OBJECTIVES IS ALWAYS OUT, WHEN SUBJECTIVITY STEPS IN, FIND YOURSELF A MENTOR WHO EMBRACES THE CALL OF YOUR LIFE. YES! PRESSURE TO COMPROMISE WILL BE HIGH, BUT YOU ARE ON A CHARTED COURSE TO EFFECTUAL MINISTRY AND WONT ULTIMATELY BURNOUT. A MAN'S STEPS ARE ESTABLISHED BY THE LORD, AND HE TAKES PLEASURE IN HIS WAY. PSALM 37:23
BELIEVE IN YOUR CALLING, STAND FIRM, YOU ARE A KINGDOM CHAMPION. YOU ARE AN OVER COMER, BORN TO WIN, AND OVERRIDE THE SYSTEM OF THIS WORLD. LOOK NOT AT THE PROBLEM BUT FOCUS ON THE PROMISES, FOR THEY ARE YES AND AMEN.
ALWAYS REMEMBER THAT, THEM THAT KNOW THERE GOD SHALL DO EXPLOIT'S. REMAIN TRUE TO YOUR CALLING, BELIEVE YOU ARE CALLED AND REFUSE TO BE LAID ASTRAY, STAY ON COURSE. YOU ARE BLESSED AND THE LORD OF ALL SUFFICIENCY WILL SUFFICIENTLY SEE YOU MAKE A KINGDOM DIFFERENCE .

The Dangerous Mindset of a Pharisee

No state of soul can be conceived so dangerous as that of the Pharisee. Never are men’s bodies in such desperate plight, as when disease and insensibility set in. Never are men’s hearts in such a hopeless condition, as when they are not sensible of their own sins. He that would not make shipwreck on this rock, must beware of measuring himself by his neighbors. What does it signify that we are more moral than other men? We are all vile and imperfect in the sight of God. “If we contend with Him, we cannot answer him one in a thousand” (Job 9:3). Let us remember this. In all our self-examination let us not try ourselves by comparison with the standard of men. Let us look at nothing but the requirements of God. He that acts on this principle will never be a Pharisee.....
